| The Restaurant Vålkojan (pronounced ”Wol-koi-an”), has become famous and well known for it´s delicious crispy waffles, delicate “smörgåsar” (open sandwiches), which are served on homebaked bread. We also offer swedish “bullar”, homebaked cakes and cookies, all in a cozy and relaxing setting. With other words, we have a responsibility to guard our reputation and that´s exactly what we are doing! We will continue to offer all the known delicacies and we work hard to further develope and improve them. But we will also make some changes . . . . During daytime we offer as usual waffles, open sandwiches on homebaked bread, as well as homebaked cakes and other bakings. We also extend the daytime menu with typical swedish plain fare, produced by using the best ingredients available, coupled with our fervour for our profession. In the evening we set the table for an elegant a la carte menu with selected fine dishes, at Obviously, our thoughts are also to offer you tasty and well tempered wines that will compliment and enhance your dinner.
